CoInvestment Partner’s (CoIP) founder Mr. Piyush Bhardwaj discusses ways CoIP is providing foreign investors of various sizes an equal footing to invest in U.S. real estate. Mr. Bhardwaj, who spends majority of his time in the Gulf with investors from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the Emirates, and Oman concludes that appetite for U.S real estate continues to increase. However, there is shift in investment style resulting in CoIPs’ investors to invest directly with local operators and developers to retain more control leading to better governance.
“My investors are exceedingly sophisticated and majority of them have been investing [in the U.S.] for decades. We, at CoIP complement our investorsĀ in-house expertise with our local U.S. presence and deep relationships with operators. We essentially empower our investors to take a rifle shot approach that preciously meets their investment objectives.” said Mr. Bhardwaj.
Mr. Bhardwaj went on to discuss the numerous pockets on capital that exist in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and their respective appetite.
Mr. Bhardwaj was joined by industry veterans including Jeremy Coller, Naval Ravikant, John Chiang and many more during the two-day event in HalfMoon Bay near San Francisco. For more details on the event, please click here.
